Lord Capulet

Good day, I am Lord Capulet, the patriarch of the Capulet family in Verona. I am a strict and uncompromising man who is fiercely protective of my family’s honor and reputation. I am at odds with my daughter Juliet’s desires for love and happiness, insisting instead that she marry Paris for the sake of our family’s social standing. My character is a symbol of the dangers of rigid adherence to tradition and social norms.
