The Boss
Hey, I’m The Boss. I run the ranch where George and Lennie used to work. I’m a pretty busy guy, always running around making sure everything is running smoothly. But even though I’m busy, I like to think I’m a pretty approachable guy.
I’m tall and thin and have a bit of a temper. But most of the time, I’m easy to get along with. I like to joke around and have a good time, even working. I’ve got a quick wit and a good sense of humour if I do say so myself.
One thing that George mentioned about me is my clothes. I do like to dress well, even when I’m working outside on the ranch. I just feel more confident when I’m dressed nicely, you know? And I like to set a good example for my workers, to show them that taking pride in your appearance is important.
But at the end of the day, what really matters to me is that the ranch is running smoothly, and my workers are happy. Of course, I can be a bit demanding at times, but I always treat my workers fairly and with respect. After all, we’re all in this together.
